Professional Pilot Program
We transform zero-experience students into commercial pilots with flight instructor and multi-engine ratings. Training emphasizes the knowledge and skills necessary to operate aircraft for hire, including airline operations.
Duration: 9-12 months
Discovery Flight
1-hour introductory flight around Oahu (up to 2 passengers)
1 hour
Private Pilot
Minimum 40 hours flight time plus ground instruction covering aerodynamics, aircraft systems, and weather
3-4 months
Instrument Rating
Certification for flying solely by reference to instruments in conditions where visibility is reduced
2-3 months
Commercial Pilot
Advanced training for professional operations, including emergency procedures and Federal Air Regulations
2-3 months
Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI)
Teaching credentials with CFI-I rating; allows income-earning flight hours toward 1500-hour airline requirement
1-2 months
Multi-Engine Rating
Advanced instruction on engine management, emergency procedures, and multi-engine aerodynamics
