How to Schedule Your Exam
Follow these steps to book your FAA airman knowledge test at our facility.
Create an FAA IACRA account and obtain your Federal Tracking Number (FTN)
Schedule your exam online at faa.psiexams.com or contact Pacific Flight Academy
Receive your authorization from the FAA or examining authority
Bring two forms of valid identification on test day (primary ID must include photo, signature, and address)
Arrive 30 minutes early to complete check-in procedures
Complete your exam in a quiet, professional testing environment

- FAA testing authorization (if applicable)

Test Format
Most exams contain 60 questions with a 2.5-hour time limit. A score of 70% or higher is required to pass.
ID Requirements
Two forms of identification required. Primary ID must include photo, signature, and address. You will also need your Federal Tracking Number (FTN) from the FAA's IACRA system.
Allowed Testing Aids
Non-programmable calculators, plotters, E6B flight computers, navigation charts, and FAA-provided testing supplements are permitted.
