Private Pilot

Your foundation in aviation — earn your Private Pilot Certificate and learn to fly

Private Pilot Certificate

Your first step into aviation

Earn your Private Pilot Certificate through a minimum of 40 hours of flight time combined with comprehensive ground instruction. You will master the fundamentals of aerodynamics, aircraft systems, weather theory, navigation, and FAA regulations, preparing you to fly single-engine aircraft as pilot in command.

Training at Pacific Flight Academy means learning in one of the most dynamic airspace environments in the country — Honolulu Class Bravo. You'll build confidence flying alongside commercial traffic from day one, with year-round favorable weather conditions.

Our Sling NGT aircraft feature modern glass cockpit avionics, giving you hands-on experience with the same technology used in airline operations. Upon completion, you'll be ready to carry passengers and continue building toward advanced ratings.
